Thank you very much.
I am looking for instructions on how to CHANGE THE PERMANENT DEFAULT LOCATION OF THE AUTHOR BOX, on any post. Currently, the author box (which I connect to the users biographical info) appears at the top of all the options (in my case above the "EXCERPT" box, and above "AUTO CACHE SETTINGS", and "OPTIONS FOR THIS POST/PAGE, etc.
Right now, when I try to slide the box upwards, to the top of all these elements, it does not stay there when I save the post and publish it. It shows up way below other elements I have on the template for this single post, for example below the comments box (using plugin dscuz), To be precise, if you have a look at the bottom part of this page, you will see that the bio for the author appears after the following items (all of which begin to appear right after the end of the post window, which uses a "spoiler shortcode" created by ULTIMATE SHORTCODES:
• print this article
• THE VIEWS EXPRESSED herein disclaimer...
• If you find the above COMPELLING (testimonial shortcode
• Unfortunately, most people take this site for granted. (donation code)
• Paypal donation button
• Did you sign up yet for our FREE bulletin? (Invitation to sign up for our newsletter)
• This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution
• ALL CAPTIONS AND PULL QUOTES BY THE EDITORS NOT THE AUTHORS
As you can see, 7 (seven) elements are executed before we see the author's bio (in this case for JAY JANSON). The author's bio I would like to see RIGHT AFTER THE END OF THE POST WINDOW, AND AHEAD OF ALL THESE OTHER ELEMENTS.
Thank you very much for your kind patience!
