Hi,

The Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) issue in this case is related to the Google font swap effect from the normal font to the Google font.

If you aim for a perfect score, you should disable all Google fonts and use the default computer font. You can do this by navigating to Appearance → Customize → General → Typography.

Your site's score is almost perfect. In my personal opinion, you can ignore the CLS issue because it doesn't affect your site's speed and SEO.

Hi,

Ok so I did clear Critical CSS cache and site caches. But same errors in pagespeed. Looks like the errors come from:

- Large layout shift = <section class="penci-section penci-disSticky penci-structure-22 elementor-section element…" data-id="7620d085" data-element_type="section">

- And to big DOM

https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-sosialnytt-com/cyfse79orj?form_factor=mobile

The score is good, I should just get INP below 200 on mobile and CLS below 0,1 to avoid "must fix errors" in googe search console..

Hi,

Please navigate to the dashboard and clear all the Critical CSS cache and site caches. Afterward, check the real-time score as depicted in the screenshot I provided.

Hi,

I turned off the add in sidebar but no change in INP or CLS :/

Any other idea what may cause it?

Hi,

Here is the latest result on your site:

The Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) issue is caused by the ads banner appearing on the sidebar.

The one red alert I get is this:

Avoid large layout shifts 1 layout shift found.

Its refering to this:

<section class="penci-section penci-disSticky penci-structure-22 elementor-section element…" data-id="7620d085" data-element_type="section">

Hi,

In this case, please check all the Google Ads units you've added, and remove all the following codes:

<script  async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-9171535783849552" crossorigin="anonymous">
You should insert it once in the header area only.

Hi,

We do get good results in google pagespeed, but still we have some issues in search console we must fix for single posts(I guess they will be bad for our ranking).

https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-sosialnytt-com-var-staude-ble-borte-fra-skjermen-kommer-med-ny-avsloring/kqxzc6k6b2?form_factor=mobile

1. INP mobile = 271 ms (to high)

2. CLS computer = 0,17 (should be below 0,1)

Do you have any suggestions or ideas for us on how we can fix those to ratings?

Thanks!
