Conversation Start

Text has become the default editor. I have to repeatedly change to Visual editor. I want Visual to be the default and am unable to find a way to do it. Please provide detailed instructions.

The writing page comes up in Text editor and I have to click the Visual tab every time I want to write or edit a page. I read that Visual is supposed to be the default editor but in my case it is not. Text editor appears to be set as the default and I can’t find a way to change it. I think that is what I need to know – how to set Visual editor as the default.
This happens with all browsers I have tested.

I asked this same question in a previous ticket but got no reply. The issue got worse after updating to Soledad 8.5.x
