Hi,
Please go to Appearance → Customize → Posts Layouts:
- Standard & Classic: turn on the "Hide Post Date" option,
- Other Layouts: turn on the "Hide Post Date" option,
Clear all the browser caches and check again.

In the theme options panel I have turned on the Hide Post Date function but it's still presenting the date on the category page.
