Hi there!

I’d like to display only the post’s category at the top of the post template to let readers know what category the post belongs to.

I tried using a plugin for the breadcrumb element, but it wasn’t quite what I needed since I only want the category displayed.

Currently, I have a separate template for each category where I manually add the category name at the top of the page. Is there a better way to achieve this?

Super short question, but I failed to find the Meta data for just the category for the post template feature.

I use the meta element and it doesn’t show the category, just the comments, date, author, etc.

Is the only way of showing the category via the breadcrump element? 

My solution for now is using a different template for each category, but would this result in a laggy website?
