Please go to the dashboard → WooCommerce → Status → Tools → Create default WooCommerce pages: click the "Create Pages" button, clear all the caches and then check again.

I am still having issues, when I use the customizer and, for example, open the "cart page" it just stays on the homepage and does not open the cart page. Could you guide me on where the setup might be stuck somehow?

And there was a /shop site created, as it is reachable, but I can not select / find it here:Can you tell me how the shop page is called and how to edit products?
