Ok I've figured out how to solve this in customising the footer to show three columns. Sorry!

I am trying to get three columns to display in my footer. However, only 2 are displaying, corresponding to Footer #1 and Footer #2 - footer #3 is not showing up. I have added widgets to Footer #3 and it shows up if #1/#2 are empty, but not when they show up as well.
