Actually, I just solved the problem by creating a new menu tab with "custom link" instead of "page" :-)

Hi,

I've added a "home" section in the main navigation, see website https://thecurlykalekitchen.com/.

However when I click on it, the page is blank. I would like https://thecurlykalekitchen.com/home/ and https://thecurlykalekitchen.com/. to have the same content and URL (aka be the same page), how do I do that?

Hi,

How do I make my landing page (thecurlykalekitchen.com) "home"? I added home in the navigation but the page is empty. I need to make thecurlykalekitchen.com become https://thecurlykalekitchen.com/home/ because when scrolling down, the only way to go back to the home page is by clicking on home.

The theme doesn't related with your SSL.

Please contact with your hosting provider and ask them about this.

Hi,

1/ I just updated your site to latest version of Soledad. Now, I use vertical images size for your images and change the layout to Grid. It solved the issues.

2/ You can go to Customize > Featured Slider Options > Filter Featured Slider By > select "Featured Tags" > and fill the tag you want to filter your posts. If any post you want to display on the featured slider, you just need to taged that tag to the posts you want to show.

Yes, that's what I thought too, thanks!

Another question: I am writing recipes using the plugin that is already available with Soledad. I fill in all the info in the backend and then publish but it's not showing up. It says "You can display your recipe for this post by using the following shortcode: [penci_recipe] ". I've tried to pu this code at the beginning of the ingredients' list but it's not working.

Could you please tell me how to publish recipe (prep time, directions, ...) onto the blog?

Hi,

Thank you for purchased Soledad theme.

Unfortunately, currently this theme just supports for logo image only. I think you can create a simple logo for yourself and use it as your logo for now. Have a lot of way to help you can create a logo. You can search on google for "create logo online free" - so much websites help you do that.

I just bought the soledad template and will be using the soledad food template: http://soledad.pencidesign.com/soledad-food/.

How do I enter text for my blog's name (The Curly Kale Kitchen) instead of uploading a logo (I don't have one yet) where "Soledad Food" appears on the link I provided above?
