Help Adding a GIF to the Homepage

I would like to add a GIF animation (attached: SETU_GRALHA_AZUL_ISOLADA.gif) of a bird flying across the homepage of my website — ideally, passing from one side of the screen to the other.
Could you please guide me on how to do this using the theme's built-in options or via custom code? I am using the Soledad theme.
