Please try add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS to fixed it:

Hi there

I've noticed that on my featured slider there seems to be 1px of the previous featured article which shows on the left and right hand sides. When the featured images for those articles have strongly contrasting colours, it sticks out quite noticeably. Is there any way of fixing this?
