Hi again,
I found where the primary menu is on the bottom. Actually that was checked. When I unchecked it, all the words were gone. But I am still having a hard time using it. Is there a way to remove the demo data from the theme? I'd like to start from scratch.

Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > create or select a menu for your site > scroll down and check to "Primary Menu" ?
I think it is already set to Primary Menu. Please see the screenshot.

Please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus > create or select a menu for your site > scroll down and check to "Primary Menu" at the bottom and this issue will gone.
If you're new with Wordpress, you can check documentation for this theme here and some videos tutorial for this theme here to know how to config this theme. It's short and easy to understand.

Hello,
I recently purchased Soledad theme. I chose the Photography demo to import to Wordpress. After importing it, my site shows all the drop down menus from the photography demo. Is this normal or do I need to change something before I customize it? I am very new to Wordpress so do not have much technical skills.
