Hi,

86.1MB is quite a large file for a video background. I recommend two options:

Upload it to YouTube or Vimeo and use the video link—these platforms will automatically optimize it.
Convert the video to .mp4 format and upload it again.

There is no strict size limit for video backgrounds, but if the file is too large, users will experience long loading times before the background appears.

Penci,

Working on a draft page and looking to insert a .mov background into the Penci slider. It uploaded fine to media library, but not seeing it playing in draft mode in wp. The file size is 86.1MB. Can you tell me the size limit for inserting a movie background? I'm including the URL of the media file for reference:
