I have also noticed my older content is not being calculated in the "most read today" sections something is wrong with the connection

On the front page of the site dates for old posts are showing with dates in the last few days. I'm reinstalling the entire database from the previous site because categories and tags didn't migrate and I tried to update tags with a plugin and tried to create new categories which may be the culprit. 

All of my post dates are off on the site but not on the backend. Caused an absolute disaster on my auto posting for social media posting close to 300 old posts on all networks this morning.
