Hi,

I’ve checked your site and can confirm that this issue is related to the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. In this case, you should disable all JS/CSS optimization features in the plugin and use only the caching option.

Hello PenciDesign Support Team,

I am using Soledad theme v8.7.2 and I am experiencing a recurring issue with the Featured Slider on the homepage.

Issue

The Featured Slider breaks randomly (almost every day / every few days).
When this happens, the slider does not function as a slider anymore and the slides/images stack vertically one below another, instead of showing as a working carousel/slider.

Important detail

The Featured Slider settings are NOT reset.
When I go to:

Soledad → Theme Options → Featured Slider

all my previous settings are still saved (slider enabled, style, category filter, etc.).

However, the slider only starts working properly again after I manually re-save the Featured Slider settings (even without changing anything). Once I click Save, the slider works immediately again.

This looks like the slider scripts or slider query is not loading properly until the Theme Options are saved again.

Theme: Soledad 8.7.2
WordPress: (your WordPress version)
PHP: 8.3.19
Editor: Gutenberg
Featured Slider Style: Style 26
Filter Featured Slider by: Featured Category

Active Plugins (main ones)

LiteSpeed Cache (cache/optimization enabled)
Rank Math SEO
Envato Market plugin

Question

Could you please advise why the Featured Slider layout breaks and stacks vertically, even though settings remain saved, and why re-saving the Featured Slider options fixes it instantly?

If this is a known conflict with caching/optimization or a theme bug, please share the recommended permanent solution.
