Hi,
This widget does not support displaying custom post meta, so it cannot be forced to show the penci_post_sub_title field.

Yes, that's correct. You can display any post meta content, including the penci_post_sub_title meta field.

Well that's not completely true; I managed to display penci_post_sub_title in the Penci Big Grid block by using Custom Post Meta Keys and Showing Custom Post Metas?

Hi,
Unfortunately, the current version of Soledad only displays the post subtitle on single post and archive pages.
We'll consider adding support for post subtitles in other custom post elements in a future theme update.
