Hi,

1/ I think you should create a new page and use Recipe Index to list all your categories you want here.

Check more on this video tutorial ( please watch to the end of this video to understand all ).

2/ You can check options for Custom Sidebar for Homepage, Single & Page via Customize > General Options.

By default, the archive pages will display "Main Sidebar". So, I think if you want to use a different sidebar for your category pages. You can use Custom Sidebar for your Homepage and use "Main Sidebar" for your category page.

And if you want to make your sidebar align to left, please go to Customize > General Options > and check to "Enable Left Sidebar"

It worked! Great, thank you so much. I was already spending hours on that and in the end it was just two klicks :-D

I have another question, shall I open a new ticket for that?

I want to show all the child categories in the main category. So if you click recipes in the menu, you don´t see all recipes but the child categories like: salads, soups, etc. Ist that possible?

Is it possible to have an index like recipes from a-z?

And, last but not least, is it possible to create a left sidebar in the categories to be able to put a search and tags etc there?

Hi,

This issue caused by you've enabled lazyload images feature from Jetpack - please deactivate this feature from Jetpack.

This theme supports this feature from itself - So, you don't need to use any more lazyload feature.

Hi,

I´ve just purchased your theme and love it.

I spent hours working on it and thought I was fine, but on the homepage no pictures appear. I used "regenerate thumbnails" already and all my posts do have a featured picture assigned.

In the posts everything is fine, but on the homepage and in the categories its just grey where the picture is supposed to be. Also the slider is empty - I wanted to use the featured slider.

I´d be happy if you could help me.
