I got it working. Although, i have a question. Can you recommend a save solution with your theme to get rid of the /category/ in the url. Just want to make the right choose. Thanks

Hi,
Please try:
1/ Go to Dashboard > Settings > Permalink > and click "Save Change"
2/ Deactivate all plugins and try it again. If it work, let's enable each plugin to check what's plugin caused this issue.
