Hi,

This issues caused by your hosting use outdated PHP version.

Have two way to fixed it:

1/ Tell with your hosting provider update PHP version to higher version. It should be 5.4+ to compatible with all features of wordpress & a lot of plugin of wordpress now and in the future. ( Highly Recommend )

2/ Do following this steps here:

a) Install & activate plugin WPide

b) Go to admin page > WPide > and replace this code to this code:

new Penci_Soledad_Demo_Importer();

Hi,

I am trying to activate the Penci Soledad Demo Importer plugin, but I always get the following error message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /.../wp-content/plugins/penci-soledad-demo-importer/penci-demo-importer.php on line 828

I noticed that recently, in your support forum, two other members had the same issue, but the solution is not displayed in public, because they have been asked to send their login credentials in a private message.

I also noticed that the error is happening exactly in the same line, where only a curly bracket } exists. Probably it has something to do with the PHP version. Mine is 5.2.17

I do hope that you have figured out what is happening with the action of that line, and what we have to do to activate the above plugin, so as to tell us the steps that we have to follow in your reply to solve that problem,so as not having to send you a private message. :-)
