Hi,
1/ That's easy to update WPBakery - you just need go to Plugins > All Plugins > deactivate & delete plugin WPBakery. After that, go to Appearance > Install Plugins > and re-install this plugin - you will get latest version from WPBakery.
2/ For your issues, have you make sure your categories has posts? If your categories doesn't exists any posts - it will doesn't appears on Build Query.
3/ I see your config on the homepage is wrong. You need to select Template for your Front-Page is "Full Width" to make it correct to display.

Hi, I used the WP Bakerkery page builder to set up individual static pages, I also created the categories, but when I go to select the categories in the query Block, it's not allowing me to select any categories. And I was told that your company doesn't provide updates for the WP Bakery page builder.
So how do I go about being able to select the category that I want inside the page builder?
