I believe this change will have a positive impact on search rankings at Google so I have deselected "Hide Post Author" and "Hide Post Date" in the Theme customizer's "Archive, Category, Blog, Tag, Search Page Options" section to correct the issue:

RE: Penci "2/ I see you've updated the theme to version 6.0, is it ok for Breadcrumbs issues?"

We're presently using modified code to create a link to the present page under breadcrumbs to pass Google Structured Data validation - this custom code will be overwritten with theme updates.

Penci needs to examine their breadcrumbs.php file to create links, not text entries, for breadcrumbs in order to pass Google Structured Data validation.
