Unfortunately, currenly on this theme, views count just apply post.
For all your feedback, we will consider to add more this feature in the next update versions of PenNews. I'm not sure it will be added - but, I'm sure we will consider about this.

I've noticed that the views count work only with classic content type, example : https://www.journaldelavoix.com/10/09/2018/cette-horloge-intelligente-sintegre-a-alexa/
But it doesn't with custom post types : https://www.journaldelavoix.com/appareil/google-home-max/
https://www.journaldelavoix.com/skill/melon-et-meleche/
How can I make it work with CPT ?
