Hi,

1/ Yeah, category page doesn't support that. If you want to do that, you should create a custom page and include images linking separately to each child category.

2/ Yeah, we need to crop images to some other sizes to make your site display fine for all positions on your site. You should keep allsmile.png

Dear Sir or Madam,

It seems I am reaching the end of the tunnel here, thanks to you and your amazing work - keep it up.

It has been clear to me that I should be using categories instead of pages to group me posts - I will be using pages only for static pages like about us, contact etc.

However, I would like to ask if a category can display just its sub-categories instead of posts.

For example I would like Europe to display the 3 childs "Greece, Malta & England" along with pics as in "photography posts layout". Is something like that possible or do I need to create a custom page and include images linking separately to each child category?

Please mind that I am not talking about Menus - but category pages themselves.

Secondly,  when I upload an image through media, or by using the plug-in to directly upload it from my file server, I have noticed that multiple images are created on my file server on "uploads" - images of various sizes. I do know that Wordpress can generate some images to use a thumbnail (something that can be controlled on Settings ==> Media) but I have also read that certain themes might also generate up to 15 images. Does Soledad needs all those images or should I keep only the 3 generated from Wordpress - "thumbnail", "medium" and "large"?

I am grateful for all your help and time and I highly appreciate it. Looking forward to your reply!

Kinds Regards,
