Hi,
Do you mean hide author box appears bottom of each single posts? If right, please check to Customize > Single Posts Options > Hide Author Box - NOT "Hide Author"

Hi! I would like to notify a bug: when i go to "Single posts" settings and I click "Hide Author" it doesn't work.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
