Hi,

With Soledad theme, you can config your site without use Homepage, you can config everything like on the demo by use Customizer Wordpress.

You can change layout for your homepage via Appearance > Customize > General Options > Homepage Layout

You can create featured video on your homepage via Appearance > Customize > Featured Video Background Options.

As I said before please check documentation for this theme here to know how to setup this theme - It's short and easy to understand.

Hi,

If you import 2 demos - it will be mixed and you will can't use it.

You can keep use a demo and config other things you want to look like another demossmile.png

You can check this video tutorial to know how to config homepage magazine layout like on Food News demo.

And please check documentation for this theme here to know how to setup this theme - It's short and easy to understand.

One more question,

Can I import two types of demos like soledad food & foodies(food news) and use both themes at same time or should I use only one theme-demo for one homepage?

Hi,

Yeah, you can. You can change single post style via Customize > Single Post Options > Single Style

Hi,

If you want to change PenNews theme to Soledad - that's quite easy.

Let's buy a license of Soledad for your site and install the theme ( don't active it  ). When you done, let us know and we will help you change to Soledad.
