Please make sure your new product category has at least one product
I think it doesn't appears because it doesn't exists any product.

when I add a new category it is not showing up at the menu of my soledad theme. I have purchased extra support with my theme. Can you be so kind to let me know how I can fix this?
I have attached two screen shots.
