Hi,

1/ We've said about this issue in the documentation for Soledad - please check it here

If you would like to adjust the amount of posts shown per page Homepage, you can go to admin > Appearance > Customize > Homepage Options > Custom Amount of Posts Shown Per Page on Homepage and change the number to value you wanted.

If you would like to adjust the amount of posts shown per page on Archive page (category page, search page, tag page...),you can go to Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most and change the number to the value as you desired.

2/ Unfortunately, there is no way to sort the posts to display like that... Because too much customers has 2-3 categories only and we can't display 2-3 posts only on the homepage...

I think you can check this video tutorial to know how to config homepage magazine layout - and use featured categories to listed your posts for each categories. Of course you can change number posts for display with each featured category style ( check more on the video tutorial )

Best Regards,

Hi, I am trying to customize the homepage. Currently it using "Homepage Layout: Grid 2 Columns Posts" and "Category, Tag, Search, Archive Layout: Grid Posts"

Questions:

1. At the moment it only shows 7 posts, I'm not sure how to make it 8 so its even, left and right has same height

2. At the moment it shows the latest posts i think. Can we arrange so it show one post per category. I can set which categories should go in the frontpage (just like the magazine style). I tried using magazine style last time, but it has two column left the main and right are list of the rest  (if I set 5, then one bigger on left and 4 on the right). I could not make it showing only one post

Thanks
