Hi,

Yeah, because that's a shortcode and shortcode can't be displayed on the excerpt ( Wordpress will auto remove all the shortcode on the excerpt )

Solution here is put a custom excerpt like on this guide to make it display correct.

Can I ask, I am using a Dropcap plugin to make the first letter in a post bigger, for example:

However I noticed that it causes the first letter to not show when you are on a homepage or category page (in the preview text):

Do you know if there is any way I could fix this?
