Actually, I got an update from wordpress itself regarding penci theme. Isn't that enough? Should I upload attached theme again?

Please deactive and remove PenNews theme and install and active PenNews theme with file attachment.

Hi,
Make sure that you use latest version of PenNews and plugins come form theme.
We have released an update that is compatible with wordpress 5.0.1.
Add try deactivate plugins ( excrept plugin come from the theme and try it again ). If it work, let's me re-active each plugins to check what plugin caused this issue
It doesn't working, please send me your screenshot this issue and your website management information ( admin url site, username and password ). I will check it again.

As per this ticket-1813403 , I made changes and I am able to edit the post.
But, it is causing one more problem. Now, Category lists are not showing :(
I tried to set category through QuickEdit option, category is being set. But, it is not showing on mega-menu where I categorised it.
