Hi,
That's Contact Form 7 - not Penci Contact Form 
The plugins is recommend with the theme because this theme supports styles for it. You can check your plugins and you can see it.

Hi,
The contact form come from plugin Contact Form 7 - a plugin has millions users.
So, it can't be wrong the issues just come from your mail functions.. And the theme can't be affect anything on your mail functions from your hosting. So, you need to check again for yourself. This issues doesn't related with our theme.

Talked to domain, earlier SMTP registration was not done. After resolving also, contact form is not working. Do i need to configure from email address anywhere?

Hi,
That's not issue related with the theme - let's ask your hosting provider about this. Seem your hosting doesn't support for mail functions.
