That's quite hard to setup a localhost on your computer because you're not a web developer.
So, I recommend you ask your hosting provider, ask them how to make a staging for your site and working on it. When you done, move it to the main site.

I am very new to this, I have a wordpress blog set up currently. I am wanting to change the design/theme of the blog to the SoleDad theme. But I would like to be able to work on it on my computer (locally) and then when I have it finalized upload it to Wordpress.
Is there a way to tell me step by step what I need to do in beginner language? LOL ;) Thank you so much.
