I don't know.. because that's your google adsense code. I just tested again the theme and I see that option still working fine. So, if your code is correct - the google adsense will showing as normal.
I think with this case, you should contact with google adsense support about this because we can't affect anything to the code from google.

I inserted my Google Adsense code, but why is not it displayed? In other themes that I tried, for example Herald, it worked within a few minutes.
