Hi,
Do you mean use a slider on the current header background? If right, unfortunately, this theme doesn't support this feature..

Hi,
Thank you for loving our theme.
1/ You can change the background on the header via Customize > Colors for Header > Header Background Image
If you want to enable featured slider, you can enable it via Customize > Featured Slider Options
2/ Please add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS to do that:
.standard-content .penci-more-link.penci-more-link-button a.more-link,
.penci-readmore-btn.penci-btn-make-button a{ background: #ff0000; color: #ffffff; }
Change color code ff0000 and ffffff on the above code to any color code as you want, you can get a color code here

I had a couple of question on Craft DIY Blog 2.
1. How can I change the background to slider?
2. I want to change the color of read more button and continue reading.
