You need to add category pages to your menu - NOT use Pages.
Please check this image for more.
Also, you can select layout for category pages via Customize > General Options > Category, Tags, Search, Archive Layout.

I have a question, in my main menu I have added 4 categories. When I add a post and select the category in which I want the post to be located, when I enter the menu, the page is empty. The post is displayed only on the main page and not in a specific menu category. can you help me?
