WPML Translation of Home page items

Hi,
No - you don't need to use any plugin there.
Let's use pencilang shortcode come from the theme.
Example for translate "Destinations" text on the homepage featured boxes, you can put this shortcode:
[pencilang en_US='Destinations' zh_hant='目的地' /]
to Customize > Homepage Options > Homepage Featured Box 1st Text
You can do the same way with Homepage Featured Boxes URL, example:
[pencilang en_US='URL_for_English' zh_hant='URL_for_Chinese' /]

I'm sorry - I don't fully understand.
I am using the WPML plugin.
- Are you saying that I need to insert another plugin inorder to translate the homepage featured boxes and footer?
- Do I need to keep that plugin active or can I delete it after I'm done translating.
"Quick Text Translation" text is no problem.

Hi,
Please use pencilang shortcode like we said on the documentation here to translate the text from the theme for multiple languages via Customize > Quick Text Translation.
You can use this shortcode for options for Homepage Featured Boxes & Footer Copyright Text also.

Hello - I'm new to WPML - so I'm not sure if it is something I'm missing with that plugin or if it something I'm missing in Soledad but I'd like to translate text that I have inserted into the Soledad Theme Customizer.
Example:
- Home page Options - Google Adsense Code below featured Slider
- Home Featured Boxes titles
- Footer Copyright Text
- Header title of the blog feed.
If you can let me know where to insert my translation that would be appreciated.
