It seems that cause by cache, i disable cache query cache on your site and i saw new post display after create post.
I change code line is 83 on penci-framework/inc/pre-query.php file as screenshot http://prntscr.com/o2jnw7,
Please backup the code before update theme and all plugins come from PenNews theme

Hi,
Please try deactivate all plugins ( except plugins come from the theme and try it again ) - If it work, let's enable each plugin to check what's plugin caused this issue.
If it doesn't work, let's send me:
- Your admin url
- Your admin account ( username and password )
- Your FTP account ( FTP host, FTP username, FTP password ) or your hosting account.
And we will take it a look on this help you.

When I post a new article, it will show on Home-page-menu, but it can't show on the first block immediately which use the same category of Home-page-menu. After few hrs it will finaly show.
