Hi,

Unfortunately, this only apply for a special category - You can't use it for the latest posts.

Thank you for helping with point 2.

With point 1, how do I make it latest post rather than selecting a specific category? I would like it to look the same as it does on my homepage, but feature the latest post from all categories.

Thank you.

Hi,

1/ Yes, you can use "Soledad Featured Category" element to do that.

2/ Please check options for it in Customize > Options & Colors for sidebar > Custom Space Between Widgets

Apologies for not being clear, under DIY moves, can that box show the latest posts? See attached image

Also, how do you reduce the bottom padding for sidebar? See attached image

Hi,

Can you tell me more about your questions? I'm not clearly about where do you want to put featured categories.

Great, thank you so much.

Is there a way to have the most recent post of any category feature there?

Hi,

1/ Because on featured categories, you're using homepage featured box titles style 2 - while on the widgets heading title, you're using style 4. Please go to Customize > Colors for Homepage & Home Title Box Options > on "Homepage Title Box Style" select style 4. This will make the space on the left content & your sidebar is the same.

2/ For reduce the padding between featured boxes & content, please add more this code to Customize > Custom CSS:

\
.container.home-featured-boxes{ margin-bottom: 20px; }

Change number 20 to value you want.
