1/ About first issue, I found that this appears from your posts content, have a lot of text "Save" in your posts content - Check this image - I deleted it help you.

2/ I made an example for you - You can take a look on your homepage.

I added this code:

Now, you need to change the image link on the above code:

To your banner image url.

Hi,

I seem to have a small problem on my homepage. 'Save SaveSave' has been added to the text element of the latest post addition. I am still in construction on this site so some of the content has to be edited but not sure where that has come from.

Also can I add a banner in the middle of the homepage? If so how, please.

Many thanks, and still like the theme - a lot! As a complete newby at this I have found it amazingly easy to construct a site that I like. I know it needs improvement and I am learning all the time but I am quite happy with what I have achieve so far.
