As I see you're using a Static Homepage.
If you want to enable slider on Static Homepage, you need go to Pages > All Pages > edit your Front-Page > scroll down and you can see option for select Slider to display there.

This is the third site I've set up with Soledad, and I have a new issue. Even though I have a single image in Penci slider, and I have slider enabled and Penci Slider 1 chosen, the slide is not displaying on the home page. If I say display slider on all pages, the image displays -- but I only want it on the home page.
