Hi,
The custom sidebars can't be display at variable because it won't work. So, there is no way to do that

Is there a way to name the custom side bars by their category. For example instead of "Custom Sidebar 1" can you name it "Recent News" so its easier for contributors to select the correct one?

Hi,
Unfortunately, currently this theme doesn't support for this feature.
Only way to do that is select custom sidebar for each post

I understand how to set a side bar for a category page and a custom sidebar for each post. What I want is every post within a category to automatically use the custom side bar attributed to the category. Without having to go in and select hundreds of post individually.
