That doesn't look much better, and you've got to admit that having to place the header ad inside a Mailchimp widget on the left sidebar sounds a bit cumbersome for a basic requirement in any site with ads.
I hope for the sake of every buyer that it will be fixed and header ads will be possible to add in an intuitive way.

Please go to Dashboard > Appearance > Widget then use text widget on Header signup form

Hi,
If you want add ads after header on all page on your site.
Please go to Customize > Logo and Header Options > then add "Add Custom Code After <body> tag" option
Note important: please don't use ads auto place

Some pages don't show ads in the header, including category pages, tag pages and search results.
Examples:

Having an ad banner in every header is very important, please fix it.
