I see that I accidentally reverted to regular PenNews theme because I left the customization open and saved it.

Appending CSS seems to work now, thank you.

Hi,

I saw you active PenNews theme.

Please active child theme of PenNews theme.

Before active child theme, please backup customize data and import the data after active child theme.

If it doesn't still not work. Don't worry about the issue. I will check it help you.

I've tried attaching some CSS rules to the child theme's style.css but they don't seem to work.

They only work when placing them inside "Customize/Custom CSS", why could this be?
