Hi,
When you rebuilt another homepage, let's edit that page again, scroll down and you can see option to show featured slider on the top.

I rebuilt another home page and that solved the header issue. Unfortunately I can't figure out a way to get the slider to load on the new home. It is enabled in customized settings. It won't stick in the custom fields if I try to load it there. We only want the slider on the home page. Can you advise?

Hi,
Seem that's issues with WPBakery render isn't correct.
Please try go to Pages > All Pages > Add New > create a new page and re-add your elements again to this page > and set this page is Homepage and check it again.
In this week, we will release a new update for compatible with Elementor, you should use Elementor for your site - don't use WPBakery anymore because it's really bad with recent updates.
