We do have it set to categories yet the stories coming up are not in the same categories...

Please try go to Customizer > Single Post Options then scrolldown and choose "Display Related Posts By" option as screenshot http://prntscr.com/pmi783

Please look at the screen shot attached. You can see that the Key Words in the story and the Related Posts do not match. Is there a code we can add to our site that would actually give us Related Posts that actually Relate to the story's post page. Please go to our site at https://www.thecoastnews.com/childrens-museum-in-escondido-unveils-grin-land/ and look at how the Related Posts do not actually refer back to the stories posted. Please let us know how we can fix this so the Related Posts do make sense with the posted story?

Another question ... Is there a way to create a code so if a story in related posts does not have image that it will not populate the related post section? Again, thank you for this help with the theme.

I go to pennews/inc/extras.php file and go to line is 1361 and change default image help you as screenshot http://prntscr.com/pkck6y

Please backup your file before you update PenNews theme and plugins come from PenNews theme.

Please check it again

Here is the default image we would like to use. Thank you for helping us set our default image so our thumbnail images in the Related Posts will not be blank.

We need a CSS Code to place a default image in place when no image is available in your Related Posts option of the PenNews Theme design in related_posts.php. No code is working to produce a default image in the Related Posts section of a post page.
