Hi,
Thank you for your suggestion. We will consider to add more this feature in the next update version of PenNews. I'm not sure it will be added but i'm sure we will consider about this.

If right, please send me:
- Your admin url
- Your admin account ( username and password )
- Your FTP account ( include FTP host, FTP username, FTP password ) - or your hosting account.

To clarify, it appears my historical post view counts were wiped out when I downloaded and installed your theme - The real view counts are no longer showing. The post view counts now are just the clicks since I've purchased and installed your theme.
I've attached a screenshot that appears to show the post view counts(under custom fields) that had been appearing prior to installing your theme for the following article post - https://sistabrutha.com/hbcu-sports-rankings-who-has-the-best-athletic-facilities/ The second screenshot shows Penci is only counting 10 views for this post. Although this post has 2k social media shares and well over 11K views.
Are you saying I have to go into each post and manually update the post to reflect the post view counts that were reported on each of my posts prior to installing your theme?

Post count view of post on PenNews theme, it work when use PenNews theme.
You need change post count view on each post, please eidt post > Scrolldown to "Penci Post Views Count" box then click to number view and change post count view start as screenshot https://prnt.sc/pmpoow

I purchased this theme and everything seemed to be going great until i noticed the post views on my articles have been wiped out.
I've attached an example of an article that has well over 2k shares (https://sistabrutha.com/hbcu-sports-rankings-who-has-the-best-athletic-facilities/) but the post views for this article are defaulting to penci count views that are extremely off.
How can I get the actual post views to show for my articles?
